Today's project was made while I was away this weekend and FORGOT to bring the stamp sets I needed. So, I improvised and came up with more sentiments for the MANY THANKS Sizzlit Die!

This card was made with a lot of 'after thoughts'. I used the ROCK 'N ROLL technique with the Tree (from Lovely As a Tree Stamp Set), then once the card was together, I decided it needed something else and so I heat embossed the tree with Glassy Glaze -- not an easy task once the card was together *LOL* !

I do love that I was able to find another sentiment from the MANY THANKS sizzlit! :)

Today's card shows a technique we will use at my September Stamping Techniques Class --- making these gorgeous leaves! Although, I'm not sure the pictures do them justice....

 

Lovely leaves for fall!

My September Stamping Techniques class is on Thursday, September 24th, at 9:30am and another at 7pm. RSVP the class fee of $10 by September 16th. We'll make three fun projects! This class may be used as a free class for any of my club members.

It's ALL About the TREAT!

Hi, Stampers!

Today's card is ALL ABOUT THE TREAT! These cute little TREAT CUPS- available in the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog, September 1----- are WONDERFUL to use in cards like this! However, for me -- it's ALL about the treat!

I have some ORANGE Peppermint Patties that I could have used, but I'm just not a mint fan, so I think the CHOCOLATE makes this a MUCH BETTER card! :):):)

The top part of this card is 'Night & Day Specialty' DSP, available Sept. 1st in the Holiday Mini and the bottom WINDOW SHEET is also from that same DSP package. The Window Sheet caught a little glare, and you can see a little reflection of my RED PJ's in the photo !!!

The Black Brads were made by 'dipping' the brad in a Versamark Pad and then into Black Embossing Powder and heat setting. The WINDOW SHEET is attached with the two brads and glue dots under the 'Trick or Treat' Sentiment.

Another Sneak Peak from Holiday Mini

Today, I have a CUTE Halloween Card for you! For this card, I used a new IN COLOR - Dusty Durango, as it's shell and then I used a new Designer Series Paper ('Night & Day Specialty') from the upcoming Stampin' UP! Holiday Mini! If you are on my mailing list, then you should receive your copy of the mini this week!

The 'dots' are from the WINDOW SHEET that comes with that particular Designer Series Paper -- isn't that cute!!

I also used LOVELY LETTERS Alpha and my wonderful HOLIDAY BLITZ stamps sets. Let me know what you think!
