Lovely Handmade cards - Stocking Builder Punch

Gift Card Holder Tutorial

**CLEARANCE RACK BLITZ!**

Crazy days and nights here-- how about yours?? Our 'HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS' have started and I'm not quite ready! 

 These Gift Card Holders are quick and easy, though -- a great last minute 'doo dad' to put your gift cards in.  I think I finished 10 of them last night in about an hour. :)  Assembly line is KEY!

Directions:

take a piece of 4 1/4" x 11" card stock and score it (on the long side) at 3", 5 1/2", and 8".

Fold along score lines and with it folded up -- send it through the Big Shot in an embossing folder -- I used VINTAGE WALLPAPER.

Flip it over (from my view above-- so it looks like an 'M') and place STICKY STRIP on the right middle section as pictured below.

Remove the pink covering from the Sticky Strip and seal the folds so that it looks like this when flipped back over-

I then slid the word window punch over this section standing up and punched twice side by side (sorry my pic of this did not turn out) -- that is where the gift card slides in -- you can also slide a circle punch in the middle and punch for a 'thumb grip'.

 This is decorated with a 1" x 6" belly band with items from the Holiday Stocking die Accessories, and a silver Boho Blossoms Punch 'star'. :) The belly band does not come completly around, but connects by putting glue dots on left and right sides of the tree.

  This is a good shot of the gift card opening with the thumb grip!

Then you can see I used the Delightful Decorations ornament stamp and the Ornament punch on one side and the M from Occasions Alphabet stamp set and scalloped Oval punch. I attached these with glue dots.
