Today, I have another rare tutorial for you -- it's on making the ROSETTES like the one we made in my Simply Scored class this month. Enjoy! PLEASE let me know of questions. :)
Some of you were lucky enough to have bought the Simply Scored during the ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA first 24 hrs-- good for you! (You know a great deal when you see it!)
Take a piece of cardstock or in this case Holly Berry Designer Series Paper that measures 1 1/4" x 12" and then score it every 1/2" on the Simply Scored as shown.
Flip it over and then score on the 1/4" inch marks (1/4", 3/4" 1 1/4" 1 3/4" etc.).
Fold on the scored lines and you will have MOUNTAINS and VALLEYS (which will be MUCH easier to fold like this picture.)

Take two glue dots and place on the END MOUNTAIN -- then overlap that onto the other end to make a circle. (sorry for the poor pic)
Punch a circle (I used a 1 1/4" circle here) and using the liquid tombow glue - smoosh the glue all over one side of the circle.

Place the circle over your
rosette that you have smoosch down and then hold the glued circle over it for about a count of 1 - 60.
Punch out another circle and glue the same way to the other side -- again holding it in place for a count of 1 - 60.
Then place a heavy punch on top and leave for several minutes.
THEN the rosette will be ready to attach to your project:
We covered our white circle with an Early Espresso one along with the scallop punched JOY AT CHRISTMAS.
Please let me know of questions!
Fall into the Stamping Habit…
Take care,
Tonja
